 About Stacy Rae
Stacy Rae is co-owner of BODY TECHNIQUES and President of Medstac, Inc., a unique exercise band that is sweeping the nation. She is best known for her unique style of personal training and her passion for helping women Get In Shape, Stay In Shape, and Feel Better about their bodies. This passion is the core of her life’s work; it began over 30 years ago, and it keeps her going today. Poor self esteem and body image is an issue for women of all ages and Stacy Rae is working to help women gain a positive self image. Throughout her training, she has been able to design workouts for women’s specific structure, the Body Type Workout System. She has said, "Too many women have wasted years working out and not getting results," and she believes that this result is a combination of incorrect workouts and unrealistic goals. Not only is Stacy Rae a personal trainer, she gives lectures, seminars and workshops all over the US, and happily serves the community of Huntington Beach with workshops, lectures and volunteering for churches, schools, senior centers, corporations, and gyms.

 Certifcation and Qualifications
Stacy Rae began teaching aerobics when she was just 16 and, in addition to being a Group Certified Fitness Instructor through A.C.E. (American Council on Exercise), she is also a certified Personal Trainer through A.F.A.A. as well as a certified PiYo Instructor (a combination of Pilates and Yoga). She is also a graduate student from San Diego State University 1988.

Ectomorph (Banana)

A long, rectangular and angular shape resembling a banana. Limbs tend to be longer than the torso with the waist generally straight with little definition. This body type is naturally thin with very little muscle on the limbs and trunk, this body type may be thin but may still have a high percentage of body fat.

 

Mesomorph (Apple)

This body type is the most athletic by nature. The shoulders are often broader than the hips resembling an apple. The arms and legs are very powerful and well developed. There is a higher muscle to fat ratio with this body type which can look fit even without exercise. They are however top-heavy and carry extra body fat in their abdominals, upper back and triceps area.

 

Endomorph (Pear)

This body type is pear shaped by nature, the upper body is described as soft with the shoulders appearing smaller than the hips. Eno, means curvy and the muscles of this body type are not well defined. Their is a higher fat to muscle ratio on the trunk and limbs. This body type carries more body fat on the lower body and they tend to gain weight easily do to a slower metabolism

 

Meso-endomorph (Apple/Pear)

This body type is much more muscular and their curves are more fitted to the body and pronounced in the normal Endomorph. The shoulders are broader than the Endomorph body type with a large chest and a lower waist line. The lower body, hips, thighs and stomach is less soft, resulting in a solid build. The Meso-Endo has the natural strength of a Mes0-Morph and the curves of an Endomorph. This body type has an underlying musculature of a Mesomorph however, the body fat percentage is much higher.
